Job Description
The senior Manager, Treasury will have responsibilities for cash and treasury operations, short-term borrowing and investments. Management of global bank accounts as well as wire/ACH payments. Monitors compliance with Treasury department goals. Assesses the products, services, technologies and systems that are available and appropriate for Treasury departments. Assist Corp. Treasurer in all aspects of the company's financial risk exposures including insurance and foreign currency risk.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports treasury and cash management operations and helps develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
- Recommends daily requirements for borrowing and/or paydown.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
- Recommends and implements improvements to current cash management processes.
- Assists in managing and maintaining company's banking infrastructure, including bank and brokerage relationships.
- Assists in preparing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Identifies and recommends cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to treasury.
- Oversees global cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, wire payments, fraud prevention, bank account setup and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
- Review and analyze monthly Bank Analysis Statement and resolve issues with the banks.
- Administer Banking Portals
- Administer and manage corporate card programs or Pcard.
- Assist in managing and monitoring intercompany settlements and netting.
- Assist in FX hedging and management.
- Assist in financing negotiations and capital strategy formulation.
- Understands and manages appropriate procedures and processes around month-end and quarter-close activity.
- Ensures adherence to SOX controls, FBAR, FATCA, DODD Frank, including record keeping and data testing as requested.
- Provides financial analysis to executive management.
- Coordinates and prepares cash forecasts.
- Creates models involving cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement projections.
- Conducts research into variances and determines explanations.
- Assists with M&A activity for Treasury.
- Trains treasury staff on developmental goals in support of the Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- The ideal candidate must have minimum 6 years of relevant treasury or corporate finance experience with emphasis in cash and bank account management, forecasting, cash flow analysis.
- The ideal candidate must have familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS, and treasury workstation.
- The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience using accounting and financial software packages
- The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
- Must be detailed oriented and possess analytical skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
