DevOps Engineer (Azure)

This role is focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of cloud-based production environments within a fast-paced engineering setup. You will play a key role in building and maintaining Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks that support mission-critical applications. The position is highly operational and hands-on, requiring strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve incidents, outages, and performance issues. You will act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and application problems while collaborating closely with development, security, and support teams. The environment is Agile-driven, balancing structured delivery with real-time operational demands. • You will build, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and operational reliability across production environments.
• You will design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• You will develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth, reliable, and efficient deployment processes.
• You will monitor production systems, respond to alerts and incidents, and take ownership of escalated issues impacting applications and infrastructure.
• You will perform root cause analysis on outages and performance issues, implementing long-term corrective actions to improve system stability.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve deployment, networking, database, and application-related issues in a timely manner.
• You will maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and best practices to improve reliability, security, and performance standards.

Requirements

You should bring strong experience in cloud engineering or DevOps environments, with a focus on Azure-based infrastructure and production support. You will need hands-on expertise in managing incidents, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring service reliability in SLA-driven environments.

• You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations roles.
• You have 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services in production environments.
• You have strong experience supporting and troubleshooting incidents, outages, alerts, and performance degradation in live systems.
• You are proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (preferred), ARM templates, or Bicep.
• You have experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• You are skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• You have hands-on experience with Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, load balancers, and private endpoints.
• You are familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Grafana.
• You have experience working with SQL databases and Active Directory environments.
• You bring strong analytical thinking, root cause analysis skills, and the ability to work in Agile and fast-paced operational environments.
