Visit our careers website to learn more about opportunities at Motive. About the Role: As the Sr Solutions Consultant in Motive’s Professional Services team, you will have the opportunity to shape how Motive sells and delivers technical engagements for our customers during the pre-sales process.  The ideal candidate has a proven track record of finding solutions to customer business needs and scoping services engagements for those solutions.  This role is responsible for pre-sales solutioning,  prospect presentations, RFP responses, creating sales quotes & Statements of Work, and coordinating scheduling of pre-sales and post-sales project work.25% travel is required for this role What You’ll Do: Partner with the Sales and Customer Success teams to prospect and win new business by developing key relationships, driving expansion with accounts and developing a deep understanding of a client’s business Develop customer solutions & prospect presentations, RFP responses, sales quotes & statements of work and coordinate scheduling of pre-sales and post-sales project workEnsure adherence to sales processes while continuously working to improve sales operations. Coordinate with the Post Sales Operations team for creating and maintaining the Sales Collateral and RFP response database.Monitor the impact and value of sales initiatives and identifies continuous improvement opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking For: 5+ years experience selling Professional Services and/or SaaS services with a keenness and quickness in understanding business situationsAbility to create solutions for customers and prospects based upon their business requirementsExhibit a competitive mindset, always striving for successAbility to identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions, take ownership or implementation and/or project management if in another department’s domainStrong negotiation skills with the ability to make trade-off decisionsAbility to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, as well as flawless written communicationAbility to analyze KPIs to determine the root causes behind changes, and provide recommendations as neededStrong experience with Salesforce or other CRM for forecasting, pipeline management and sales accelerationExperience with the trucking and/or logistics industry is an asset (but not required) Pay TransparencyYour compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications.
