We care so much that we are willing to do and say the hard things to make each other and the company better.The Impact You’ll MakeResponsible for the conduct and performance of the security teamActs as a point of communication between Recursion and the Allied office staffResponsible for ensuring that the security team is trained and licensed to Allied and Recursion standardsOnboarding of new guardsEnsure the team’s training is continually updated and documentedOversight of post orders and procedures to ensures that all laws, rules, Recursion expectations and Allied standards are followedMaintain a working knowledge of the procedures followed by the security team in the course of their dutiesWork with Allied site lead to update, edit, and rewrite post orders according to the prevailing demands and conditions of the postSupervise, counsel, advise, and discipline the security team according to the laws, statutes, regulations, rules, and standards which govern the postEstablish and maintain a working relationship with the Gateway Mall Security Supervisor and continually foster good relations with that teamFoster good relations between the security team and first responders (police, fire, medical)Establish partnership between Recursion employees/vendors and the security teamEstablish deep knowledge of all technology systems used by Recursion and Allied as required by this postWork with Recursion Site Services team to establish knowledge of facilities, lab systems, and emergency protocol to effectively protect the site including, but not limited to: Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Monitoring Systems, Equipment Monitoring and reading Gauges, Emergency Utility Shut Offs, & Emergency Event Coordination.Receive First Aid/CPR/AED training and be prepared to respond to onsite emergenciesManage Envoy check in systems for visitorsManage badge access for employees and visitorsLocation:This position is based at our headquarters in Salt Lake CityThe Team You’ll Join You will be joining the Site Services team at Recursion, which works to support lab and site operations, facilities management, EH&S, expansion facilities, and other necessary areas across all Recursion sites.
